National coordination agency "Koordinationsstelle Tourismus für Alle e.V." - NatKo

The German agency for the promotion of tourism for all - Nationale Koordinationsstelle Tourismus für Alle e.V. (NatKo) - is another port of call when checking out barrier-free travel. The agency is supported by Germany's main disabled organisations and works in conjunction with its partners to develop concepts and suggestions for improving travel and holidays for people with reduced mobility. NatKo's German-only website (www.natko.de) is a veritable treasure trove of information for anybody considering a barrier-free holiday. For example, the NatKo guide "Who can help?" lists the addresses of various travel advice centres for disabled tourists, together with the services they offer, plus details of tour operators offering barrier-free packages and many other useful resources.
