Altötting

Altötting's enchanting Christkindlmarkt is held around the Chapel of Mercy on Kapellplatz, a beautiful square lined by fine baroque buildings. Highlights include the traditional Advent concerts with choirs and orchestras from the Bavarian Oberland and Salzburg, and the grand Christmas concert with the Regensburger Domspatzen boys' choir, narrated by the renowned German actor Christian Wolff.
